MSSA-Europe or MSSA-EU is designed to facilitate instruction in the Central European Time (CET) time zone for US service members serving in the European region. MSSA-Europe is NOT an expatriate program.
Eligibility:
  • US Active Duty transitioning Service Members within 180-days of end of service at program start. For eligibility exceptions see FAQs ataka.ms/MSSA-FAQ.
  • US National Guard and Reserve Members
  • US Veterans
All applicants MUST:
  • Attend or view a MSSA information session ataka.ms/MSSAvirtualbrief.
  • Complete applicable prerequisite training and certification that corresponds to the MSSA learning path for which you are applying.

    Server and Cloud Administration (SCA) Complete Networking and Administration Fundamentals in LinkedIn Learning
    Cloud Application Development (CAD) Go to aka.ms/MSSACollection-CAD and complete required training and certification
    Cybersecurity Operations (CSO) Complete Cybersecurity Fundamentals in LinkedIn Learning and submit CompTIA Sec+ Certification
US Active Duty Transitioning Service Members MUST:
  • Secure command approval to participate
  • Submit a document to verify your military service. Acceptable documents include Basic Individual Record (BIR), Basic Training Record (BTR), Transition Orders, Service Record Brief (SRB/ORB/ERB) or Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).
US National Guard and Reservist Members MUST:
  • Secure command approval to participate
  • Submit a document to verify your military service. Acceptable documents include Basic Individual Record (BIR), Basic Training Record (BTR), Transition Orders, Service Record Brief (SRB/ORB/ERB) or Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).
US Veterans MUST:
  • Submit a DD-214, proof of honorable or general discharge under honorable conditions
